Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eldoth Kron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Derksen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kron comes to the cage accompanied by Afterworld. Christian Derksen is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Eldoth Kron! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Christian Derksen! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kron shoots and misses and Derksen counters with a stiff right hand. Derksen connects with an inside leg kick. Derksen tries to clinch but Kron moves out of range. Derksen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Derksen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Kron has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Derksen finds it's way round the side to connect with Kron's head. Kron moves out of range of the body kick from Derksen.
Derksen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Derksen dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kron fails to land the takedown. Derksen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Derksen moves into the clinch successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Derksen working some nice short punches in the clinch. Kron drops down looking for an ankle pick but Derksen pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eldoth Kron. That's going to take a lot out of him. A solid leg kick lands there for Derksen.
Derksen doesn't manage to clinch there - Kron circles away.
Derksen getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Derksen scores with a jab. Christian Derksen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kron keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A slapping leg kick lands for Derksen.
Derksen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kron. That did some damage! Derksen tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Kron counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Derksen! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kron working away. Kron in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Sloppy strikes there by Kron. Derksen tries to improve position but can't. Kron trying to control the position but Derksen is working away. Kron postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Kron thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kron controls the position. Derksen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kron wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Kron is looking to take a break and control but Derksen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kron working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Kron controls the position from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kron wants to lay and pray for a moment but Derksen keeps working. Kron is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Derksen will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Derksen wants to control but Kron postures up. Kron has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Eldoth Kron. Kron shoots in for a double leg but Derksen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Derksen lands an overhand right. Kron stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Derksen. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christian Derksen dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Derksen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Kron fails with a takedown attempt. Kron fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kron uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Derksen.
Derksen cracks Kron with a good jab. Kron looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eldoth Kron. That's going to take a lot out of him. Derksen is looking to land body kicks. Derksen pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kron is trying hard to land a takedown here. Derksen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Christian Derksen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Derksen is looking to slow Kron down with leg kicks. A nice inside leg kick there by Derksen. That's going to slow Kron down. Derksen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kron paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kron looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Derksen is fending him off so far but Kron persists. Nope, Derksen circles away and we're back to standing. Derksen lands a nice looking body kick. Derksen scores with a body shot.
Kron tries to keep at a distance but Derksen has taken the fight into the clinch. Kron is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Derksen scores with a nice hook to the head. Kron has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Derksen uses from the top position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Derksen preventing the sweep. Derksen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kron controls Derksen momentarily but Derksen frees himself. Kron manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Derksen manages to get himself to full guard.
Kron postures up.
Kron not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kron trying to control but Derksen is working from the bottom. Derksen trying to keep a closed guard but Kron is proving a slippery customer.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kron keeps the fight on the outside. Derksen listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Derksen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kron on the side of the head. Derksen doesn't manage to clinch there - Kron circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Derksen wants to clinch and Derksen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Derksen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Christian Derksen seems to be getting the better of the standup. Derksen connects with a crisp jab. Derksen darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Kron fails to land the takedown. Horrible takedown by Kron or perhaps it was just good defense by Derksen which made him look bad. A chopping leg kick lands by Derksen. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Derksen throws a right hand that Kron ducks under and follows up with a left that Kron also avoids with ease. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christian Derksen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Derksen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Derksen wants it to stay on the feet. Kron throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Derksen's waist but Derksen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kron off to one side. Kron shoots in for a double leg but Derksen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eldoth Kron. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kron stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Derksen. Derksen moves into the clinch. Derksen lands on the inside with an uppercut. A nice glancing elbow lands by Derksen.
It looks like Eldoth Kron has been cut. A shot in the inside from Derksen. A short uppercut from Derksen.
Kron is rocked! Derksen has Kron pressed against the cage. He pushes Kron back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Derksen throws a beautiful elbow that sends Kron crashing to the floor! Derksen piles on the pressure with more strikes! Kron is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Christian Derksen! After winning the bout, Christian Derksen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
