Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jean Claude Van Damme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Sawden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Daniel Sawden!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Sawden misses.
Van Damme tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A bone on bone clash there as Van Damme blocks the leg kick.
Sawden looks to throw the jab but Van Damme is out of range.

Sawden blocks a head kick by Van Damme.
A leg kick checked by Van Damme.
Van Damme misses with an attempted mid kick.
Van Damme tries to clinch but Sawden is having none of it.
Van Damme stuns Sawden with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Sawden takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Van Damme keeps Sawden at a distance using the push kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sawden walks straight into a right hand from Van Damme - that's dropped him! Van Damme jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Sawden from any more punishment! Sawden complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jean Claude Van Damme!
