The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chambers shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kidder sprawls well. Kidder wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chambers gets slowly back to his feet.
Chambers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kidder as he jumps to the side.
Kidder pushes Chambers up against the cage in a clinch.

Chambers tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Chambers has Kidder pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kidder manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeffrey Chambers. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kidder breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kidder drops Chambers with a left and a right! Oh, Chambers is hurt - Kidder dives into side control looking to finish!
Chambers is rocked!
It looks like Jeffrey Chambers has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kidder has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Oh Chambers is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kidder closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Chambers out cold! Chambers corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

In his post fight interview, Derrick Kidder started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
