Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Super Hans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jermaine Choake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hans comes to the cage accompanied by Hans being Hans. Choake has chosen Hans Zimmer - The Kraken as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Super Hans! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jermaine Choake! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hans tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Choake swivels and escapes. Super Hans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Choake throws a lazy right hand but Hans sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Hans throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hans just misses with a punch to the body.
Choake shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hans pinned against the cage. Hans gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hans throws a series of punches but Choake moves out of range. Hans fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Choake manages to avoid it. Hans misses with a looping left. Choake uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hans.
Hans lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Choake shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Choake was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Choake sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hans is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Choake lands a decent elbow from side control. Choake trying to control the action but Hans is working from the bottom. Hans manages to work his way to half guard, despite Choake's best efforts. Choake seems to be looking for submissions.

Choake loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Choake won't allow Hans to sweep him here. Choake throwing strikes from guard but Hans blocks nicely. Hans can't keep his opponent in guard - Choake advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Hans trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Hans sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Choake seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hans does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Choake avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Let's see if he can advance position further. Choake takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Choake is nestled in close to Hans, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Choake has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hans tries to roll over but Choake keeps him under control. Hans trying to control from the bottom.

Hans misses with a body kick. Hans takes a kick to the side of the head. Choake dives in and scores a takedown into Hans's guard. Hans looking to control.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Hans is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Choake wants to get back to full guard. Hans is just content to waste time from the top position. Choake takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
