Hodson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Break Some Off by KoRn kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Liam Payne has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hodson tries a head kick but it misses.

Payne doesn't manage to clinch there - Hodson circles away.
Hodson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Liam Payne has been cut.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Payne closes the distance but Hodson moves to the side
and Hodson scores with a counter punch that sends Payne to the canvas! Hodson smells blood - he's punishing Payne with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Payne has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Hodson!
