Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johny Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Romo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Romo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johny Bravo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frank Romo!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romo throws a low kick, looking for Bravo's leg but Bravo calmly moves out of range.
A combination from Romo does no damage.
Bravo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Romo's waist but Romo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bravo off to one side.
Romo throws a head kick that misses.

Bravo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Romo is defending against the submission attempts here by Bravo.

Bravo is working for a submission of some sort.

Bravo is trying to work for a kimura but Romo is defending well.

Romo tries to kick Bravo off but Bravo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Bravo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Romo is just riding it out for now. Bravo eventually gives up the hold.

Bravo is looking for a kimura but Romo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bravo to get the leverage.

Bravo has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Romo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bravo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bravo wants to control the pace but Romo is squirming around nicely.

Romo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bravo shoots in looking for a takedown but Romo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bravo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bravo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Romo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Romo has escaped and now he's on top!

Bravo isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Romo stacks Bravo on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Romo!

Bravo is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Bravo is pressing down on Romo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Johny Bravo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bravo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Johny Bravo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bravo is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Romo is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Romo flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Bravo anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Romo and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Bravo slips an arm under Romo chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Bravo has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Bravo is squeezing on Romo like an anaconda would it's prey. Romo fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Johny Bravo!
