The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Spoakin. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet.
Eulogy Spoakin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spoakin throws a nice looking combination but Smith bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Some wild striking there from Spoakin.
Spoakin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Smith at a distance.
Spoakin lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Clifford Smith has been cut.
Smith shoots in and gets a takedown into Spoakin's guard.
Smith with a flurry of punches that miss.
Smith loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith won't allow Spoakin to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Smith wants to pass the guard but Spoakin is keeping the position.
Spoakin is pulling down on Smith's head to control his posture.

Smith throws a strike but Spoakin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Spoakin won't allow Smith to sweep him here.

Smith has momentary wrist control but Spoakin slips an elbow through the middle.
Smith is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smith controls Spoakin momentarily but Spoakin frees himself.
Spoakin looking to sit in guard and control but Smith gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Spoakin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Smith controls Spoakin momentarily but Spoakin frees himself.
Smith wants to sweep but no luck.
Smith is trying to control the position but Spoakin postures up.
Smith working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Spoakin.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smith is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Clifford Smith just wasn't active enough.
Spoakin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Spoakin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Spoakin wants it to stay on the feet.
Spoakin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Spoakin fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Smith out cold! Brutal finish!
