Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Monk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bb Esko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monk's entrance music is Lil Wayne. King Carter. A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcus Monk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bb Esko! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Esko throws a right hand that Monk ducks under and follows up with a left that Monk also avoids with ease. Esko lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Esko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Esko tries a head kick but it misses.
Esko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Esko.
Esko lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
No joy there for Esko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bb Esko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Monk keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Esko throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Esko misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Esko thows a left - swing and a miss! Esko lands a really nice looking cross but Monk seems unphased.
Esko throws a half hearted mid kick. Esko looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Esko throws a sloppy head kick and Monk moves out of range easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Esko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Esko tries to land a body kick and Monk counters with a nice double leg into side control. Esko won't be happy with that. Esko looks winded! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Monk has hold of Esko's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Esko tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Monk cranks the arm and Esko screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Esko, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Marcus Monk! An intense looking Marcus Monk took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Thanks to my new manager who has done right by me and turned my game around and to my new team mates who has taken my game to the next level.
