Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Quest Love (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Quest Love!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roberto Kim!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Love throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kim fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Love looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Kim lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Kim lands the left hand.
Love takes one on the button.
Love throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Kim counters with a nice double leg into side control. Love won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kim misses with the ground and pound.

Kim wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Love, who protects the arm well.
Kim throwing shots but missing, from side control.

Kim tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Kim misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Love is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kim asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Love is working to avoid the ground and pound but Kim connects with a decent elbow.
Love taking punishment in the form of punches.
Kim has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kim looks up at the clock and then as Love takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kim smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Kim misses with the ground and pound.

Kim tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kim has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Love tries to escape but Kim is in control.
The ground and pound from Kim seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Kim throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kim scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Love to see if he's OK.

Kim throws an elbow but Love slips to the side and avoids it well.
Love is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kim asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Kim is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Love's shoulder. That is not cool.
Kim throwing strikes but Love manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kim tries to bench press Love off him but Love keeps the position.
Kim gets back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kim moves into full guard.
Love being controlled here momentarily.
Love won't allow Kim to sweep him here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kim throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Love escapes and throws Kim's legs to the side, diving into side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Kim swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nice takedown defense from Love. No joy for Kim on that attempt.
Love slips a jab from Kim.
Love misses with a straight left.

Love throws an overhand right that lands on Kim's shoulder, as Kim tries to avoid the shot.
Love misses with an uppercut

and Kim counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Love utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kim working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Love keeping moving, preventing Kim from controlling successfully.
Love might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Love avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kim is looking to work some ground and pound but Love has wrist control.
Love knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kim on the ground.

Love has his feet on Kim's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Love swings for the body but Kim moves out of range.

Kim avoids the body shot from Love.
Kim dives in and grabs Love's left leg, looking for a takedown. Love pushes down on Kim's head and hops out.
Quest Love has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roberto Kim.
Kim throws a shot from downtown. Love moves away and avoids it.
Kim throws a looping overhand right but Love ducks down to avoid it.
Love stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kim.
A big right from Love misses.
Kim throws a leg kick but Love sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Love takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kim keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Kim misses with a low kick.
Quest Love is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Love misses with an uppercut

and Kim decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Love's guard.
Kim trying to control but Love is working from the bottom.
Love working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kim.
Kim throwing strikes but missing.
Kim throws an elbow that misses. Love uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kim's guard. Nice move by Love!

Kim has his feet on Love's thighs here. He's pushed Love off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Love screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
