Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Greg Stan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chaly Kwidama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kwidama has chosen TRIBAL SEEDS- LOVE PSALM as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Greg Stan! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chaly Kwidama! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stan shoots in looking for a takedown. Kwidama tries to sprawl out of it but Stan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kwidama manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kwidama throws a body kick that misses. Kwidama leaves Stan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kwidama, right into the meat.
Kwidama looks to land a body kick but Stan moved away. Stan shoots in but Kwidama avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Greg Stan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kwidama avoids the body shot from Stan.
Stan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kwidama tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Stan is in Kwidama's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kwidama is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Stan throws a strike but Kwidama rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Stan is trying to hold Kwidama in close to prevent damage but Kwidama has managed to pass into half guard.

Stan is striking from the bottom but Kwidama uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Kwidama tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Stan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stan tries to roll over but Kwidama keeps him under control. Stan preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Stan wants to get back to full guard. Kwidama tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Stan trying to control but Kwidama postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kwidama's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kwidama's back! Stan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Stan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Stan controlling well, preventing Kwidama from escaping the position.

Stan gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Stan misses with a punch to the head. Stan is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Kwidama up.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kwidama wants to control his opponent's hands but Stan gets his hands free. Stan misses with a punch to the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stan is trying to stick to Kwidama's back but Kwidama is turning into Stan. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Stan's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kwidama. Kwidama wants to stand but Stan is controlling his posture from full guard. Stan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kwidama manages to get himself to full guard.

Stan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kwidama scores with a kick to the midsection. Stan throws a series of punches but Kwidama moves out of range. Kwidama lands a front kick. Kwidama throws a nice looking combination but Stan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Stan avoids the head kick by Kwidama.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Kwidama. Stan is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kwidama sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kwidama avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Greg Stan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stan shoots in for a double leg but Kwidama sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Stan takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Stan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stan lands in his opponent's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kwidama seems keen to control Stan's posture. Kwidama tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kwidama pulls Stan in to control the position. Stan connects with a couple of short punches. This has been an exciting period of action! Kwidama keeping moving, preventing Stan from controlling successfully. Stan throws a strike but Kwidama rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Stan is controlling Kwidama's posture. Stan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stan is trying to control the action in half guard but Kwidama is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kwidama is trying to get back to full guard. Stan thows a huge punch but Kwidama dodges it nicely.

Kwidama looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stan is one step ahead there. Stan trying to control but Kwidama is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Chaly Kwidama will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

He's got his arms around Kwidama's waist but Kwidama gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stan off to one side. Stan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Kwidama throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. A telegraphed right hand from Kwidama misses the target. Stan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Kwidama ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stan moves away. Chaly Kwidama seems to be getting the better of the standup. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nice takedown defense from Kwidama. Stan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kwidama's guard. Kwidama lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stan! Stan is trying desperately to improve position. Greg Stan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kwidama wants to control the pace but Stan is squirming around nicely. Kwidama might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Stan kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stan is looking to improve his position but Kwidama isn't that keen on the idea. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Chaly Kwidama. I think Kwidama has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
