Eder comes to the cage accompanied by You're the best around. Haryy Houdini has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kyle Eder's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyle Eder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Haryy Houdini!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eder stuffs the takedown attempt from Houdini. Houdini gets slowly back to his feet.
Houdini looks for a takedown but Eder sprawls well.
Houdini shoots in for a takedown but Eder shows good takedown defense.
Kyle Eder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haryy Houdini.
Eder stuffs the takedown attempt from Houdini. Houdini gets slowly back to his feet.
Houdini fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Eder avoids it really well and circles away.
Eder throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Eder throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Houdini stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Houdini fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Eder scores with a leg kick.
Eder connects with a solid leg kick.
Eder slaps away a takedown attempt from Houdini, before circling back to the center of the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Houdini closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Houdini is defended easily by Eder.
Eder looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Houdini takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Houdini looks to score with a jab to the body but Eder is just out of range.

Houdini forces Eder back against the cage and clinches.

Houdini manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Eder wanted to stand there but Houdini had control of the position.
Eder pushing down on Houdini's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Eder with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Houdini wants to control but Eder is keeping busy.

Eder stands up and beckons Houdini to join him on the feet.
Houdini misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Houdini closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Eder is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Houdini's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Houdini's back!
Houdini trying to control the hands but Eder won't let him.
Eder trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Houdini doesn't escape.
Houdini trying to control the position but Eder manages to sink in the hooks.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Eder has the hooks in. Houdini is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Houdini manages to reverse the position and now he's in Eder's guard. Nice work there by Houdini.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Houdini drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Eder manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Houdini has Eder in his guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Houdini trying to keep a closed guard but Eder is proving a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyle Eder dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Eder dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Houdini. That did some damage!
Eder moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Houdini fails with the takedown
and Eder counters with a good, hard body kick but Houdini shrugs it off.
Eder throws out a loose jab but Houdini uses good head movement to avoid it.
Eder works over Houdini's head and body with a nice combination.


It looks like Haryy Houdini has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Eder throws a head kick that misses.
Houdini tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Eder swivels and escapes.
Kyle Eder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haryy Houdini.
Eder lands a nice shot to the body.
Kyle Eder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eder scores with the left hand. Houdini knows he should have avoided that one.
Houdini shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Eder but Eder pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Houdini is breathing heavily.

Eder throws a leg kick which misses Houdini's front leg but catches the back leg as Houdini tries to avoid it.
Houdini wants to clinch.
Houdini shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Eder connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Houdini tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Eder swivels and escapes.
Eder lands a jab.
Haryy Houdini is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Houdini doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Eder ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Eder throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Eder lands a leg kick that knocks Houdini off balance momentarily.
Eder scores with a hook.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Eder lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


Houdini is rocked!
Eder lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Houdini falls backwards - clearly groggy! Eder dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle Eder!
Kyle Eder decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
