Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fabio Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alf Alfa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Life Goes On. Alfa has chosen Jiu Jitsu - Smoke Serpent as his entrance music. Alf Alfa acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws out a loose jab but Alfa uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones scores with a nice strike.
Alfa shoots in but no luck this time.
Jones cracks Alfa with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Jones blocks a leg kick.
Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Alfa sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jones gets caught flat footed, as Alfa shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones working for a triangle but Alfa defends it easily.
Alfa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones is looking for a triangle but Alfa pushes his legs off easily.

Alfa pushes down on Jones's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Alfa uses his free foot to push down on Jones's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jones.
Alfa is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jones has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Jones is looking to improve his position but Alfa isn't that keen on the idea.
Alfa is landing with some decent strikes but Jones is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Alfa is nestled in close to Jones, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Alfa thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Alfa is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily.
Alfa wants to free his trapped foot but Jones is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Alfa is keen to just control but Jones is a slippery customer.

Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Alfa is working away from the top position though.

Alfa looks to land a strike but Jones avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Alfa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Alfa distracts Jones with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Alfa from controlling successfully.
Alfa looking to pass the guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jones looking for a guillotine here but Alfa defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alfa in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Alf Alfa will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jones scores with a jab to the jaw.
Alfa has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jones finds it's way round the side to connect with Alfa's head.
Jones lands with a straight right. Alfa didn't see that one coming.
Jones moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Alfa uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jones.
Jones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet.
Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Jones! Alfa is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
