The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Ratliff.
Nice sprawl there from Wilburn as Ratliff shoots in.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ratliff is defended easily by Wilburn.
Ratliff lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Ratliff tries a head kick but it misses.
Ratliff throws a sloppy head kick and Wilburn moves out of range easily.

Ratliff shoots in for a takedown but Wilburn shows good takedown defense.

Ratliff looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Wilburn ducks under a wild hook from Ratliff.
Wilburn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ratliff.
Ratliff throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wilburn's waist but Wilburn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ratliff off to one side.

Wilburn leaves Ratliff with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ratliff throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wilburn was covering up waiting for the punch and Ratliff finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Ratliff is breathing heavily.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Wilburn is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
