Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Burt Bedlan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silva Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Wrestler. Burt Bedlan had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva stalks Bedlan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bedlan's face. Bedlan staggers backwards, shaken.
Bedlan shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Bedlan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Silva misses with a low kick.
Silva will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Silva connects with a solid leg kick.
Silva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bedlan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Bedlan moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bedlan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Nice uppercut lands for Silva. That snapped Bedlan's head back.
Bedlan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Silva finds it's way round the side to connect with Bedlan's head.

and Bedlan counters with a takedown into side control.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Bedlan drags him back down.

Silva lands a jab-cross combination.
Silva lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Silva lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Silva Silva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd cheers as Silva lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bedlan doesn't seem phased though.
A punch lands to the side of Bedlan 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Silva scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Bedlan is rocked!
Bedlan throws a looping overhand right but Silva ducks down to avoid it.
Oh Bedlan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva lands with a big left! Bedlan is wobbled badly! Silva comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Bedlan to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
