Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Crouch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Pavluchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Crouch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roman Pavluchenko! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Crouch. Crouch pivots, looking for a leg kick but Pavluchenko is out of range and Crouch settles back down. Pavluchenko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Crouch throws an overhand right that lands on Pavluchenko's shoulder, as Pavluchenko tries to avoid the shot. Crouch is looking to slow Pavluchenko down with leg kicks. Crouch misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pavluchenko throws a right and a left that Crouch avoids nicely. Crouch looks to land a right hand but Pavluchenko moved out of range. A punch combination from Crouch misses. A punch combination from Crouch misses. Crouch misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pavluchenko with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Crouch to score with a decent uppercut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pavluchenko shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Crouch eats them both and turns towards Pavluchenko to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Peter Crouch has been cut. Crouch will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A jab from Crouch misses. Crouch rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Pavluchenko counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Pavluchenko looking to finish! Pavluchenko wants to control from the top but Crouch keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pavluchenko is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Crouch is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Crouch has escaped and now he's on top! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crouch wanted to stand there but Pavluchenko had control of the position. Crouch trying to control the position from guard on top but Pavluchenko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crouch engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pavluchenko is looking for a triangle but Crouch pushes his legs off easily.
Pavluchenko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Crouch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Crouch manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Pavluchenko looking to hit a scissor sweep but Crouch is one step ahead there. Crouch works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pavluchenko is trying to get back to full guard. Pavluchenko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Crouch is working away from the top position though. Pavluchenko wants to get back to full guard. Crouch tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Pavluchenko. Pavluchenko is refusing to be controlled, as Crouch sits in half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Peter Crouch just wasn't active enough. Pavluchenko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It looks like Roman Pavluchenko has been cut. Crouch fails to land with a series of punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crouch is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Pavluchenko. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Crouch rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Pavluchenko counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Peter Crouch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Pavluchenko staying out of range there. Crouch throws a right and a left that Pavluchenko avoids nicely. Crouch misses with a left hand so Pavluchenko counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Pavluchenko is fighting to break Crouch's control of his arms but Crouch is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Crouch can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pavluchenko controls the pace. Crouch tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Pavluchenko working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roman Pavluchenko dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Back to the action!
Crouch misses with a left hand and Pavluchenko counters with a one-two to the body. Crouch tries to bum rush Pavluchenko with a series of wild strikes but Pavluchenko uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pavluchenko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Crouch paws at him with a jab and circles away. Crouch misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Crouch throws a looping overhand right but Pavluchenko ducks down to avoid it. Peter Crouch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pavluchenko takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Pavluchenko lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Roman Pavluchenko seems to be getting the better of the standup. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Crouch throws a head kick that misses. Crouch avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Pavluchenko counters with a single leg into guard. Crouch didn't expect that.
Crouch is rocked! Pavluchenko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Pavluchenko is looking to work some ground and pound but Crouch has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crouch has his feet on Pavluchenko's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Pavluchenko tries to clinch there but Crouch circles away.
Crouch connects with a solid leg kick. Crouch throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Pavluchenko takes one to the chin there. Pavluchenko misses with a two punch combination.
Pavluchenko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Crouch circles away quickly and effectively. Pavluchenko fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Pavluchenko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Crouch cracks Pavluchenko's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Pavluchenko slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Crouch can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peter Crouch! Our winner, Peter Crouch, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
