Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kalesh Nikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gegard Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikov comes to the cage accompanied by Till I Collapse. Gegard Mousasi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kalesh Nikov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gegard Mousasi! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mousasi connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nikov momentarily.
It looks like Kalesh Nikov has been cut. Nikov takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Nikov checks a leg kick. Nikov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mousasi throws a leg kick and Nikov counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Nikov. Mousasi pulls Nikov in to control the position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nikov throws an elbow that misses. Mousasi uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Nikov's guard. Nice move by Mousasi! Nikov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Nikov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Nikov throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mousasi looking to sit in guard and control but Nikov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Mousasi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nikov controls the pace. Mousasi can't keep his opponent in guard - Nikov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Mousasi blocking the ground and pound attempt from Nikov. Mousasi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nikov is working away from the top position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nikov with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Nikov trying to pass the guard but Mousasi defending well. Nikov not doing much here.
Nikov stalling away here and it's allowed Mousasi to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nikov trying to control but Mousasi is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kalesh Nikov. Mousasi jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Mousasi tries a head kick but it misses.
Nikov drops his hands momentarily and Mousasi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Mousasi tries to work over Nikov's front leg with a kick but Nikov checks it. Nikov lands a nice hook to Mousasi's body. Mousasi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Gegard Mousasi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mousasi takes one to the chin there. Mousasi cracks the inside of Nikov's front leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mousasi cracks Nikov with a good jab. Nikov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mousasi was well out of range. Poor timing from Nikov. Nikov on the wrong end of a nice hook. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Mousasi. Nikov shrugs it off though. Nikov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mousasi moves away. Mousasi works the jab nicely. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Mousasi. Nikov shrugs it off though. Nice defenses there by Mousasi. Mousasi chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Nikov avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mousasi tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Nikov is able to avoid easily. Mousasi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Nikov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Nikov misses with an uppercut. Mousasi saw that one coming. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gegard Mousasi dominated that round. The cut man is working on Kalesh Nikov's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nikov throws out a loose jab but Mousasi uses good head movement to avoid it. Nikov throws a sloppy head kick and Mousasi moves out of range easily. Nikov avoids the head kick by Mousasi.
Nikov looks to land a left hand but Mousasi moved out of range nicely. Mousasi throws a leg kick which misses Nikov's front leg but catches the back leg as Nikov tries to avoid it. Mousasi misses with a leg kick and Nikov counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Nikov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mousasi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Nikov tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mousasi knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mousasi wants to control but Nikov is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Nikov content to control rather than advance.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Nikov. Nikov throws a strike aimed at the side of Mousasi's head but Mousasi avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mousasi is trying to improve his position. Mousasi takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Nikov fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Sloppy strikes there by Nikov. Nikov throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Nikov trying to control the action but Mousasi is working from the bottom. Mousasi is looking to regain half guard here but Nikov keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nikov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mousasi keeps working. Nikov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mousasi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Nikov is putting a hurting on Mousasi here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mousasi sneaks back into half guard. Nikov wants to take a breather but Mousasi is having none of it. Nikov missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nikov is trying to work for a kimura but Mousasi is defending well.
Mousasi is refusing to be controlled, as Nikov sits in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kalesh Nikov dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Kalesh Nikov's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Nikov takes a swing at Mousasi's ribcage but misses. Nikov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mousasi pinned against the cage. Mousasi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nikov shoots in and drives through. Mousasi sprawls well. A telegraphed right hand from Mousasi misses the target. Mousasi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Mousasi throws a leg kick that misses. A slapping leg kick lands for Mousasi.
Mousasi lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Mousasi clinches. Nikov tries to score a body lock takedown but Mousasi shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kalesh Nikov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mousasi lands a right hand. Mousasi breaks the clinch.
Nikov connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Mousasi misses with a head kick.
Mousasi throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. That kick from Mousasi tenderised Nikov's leg. Nikov is trying to keep his angry face on. Nikov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mousasi counters with a nice uppercut. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mousasi scores with a nice right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nikov loads up on a big right hand but Mousasi slips the punch. Nikov throws a poor cross that misses
and Mousasi counters with a solid body kick. Good exchange - Mousasi coming out on top.
Nikov is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A chopping leg kick lands by Mousasi. Oh Nikov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Mousasi throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Gegard Mousasi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mousasi scoring well with a low kick there.
Mousasi has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Mousasi lands a nice leg kick that just misses Nikov's sensitive parts. Nikov seems to have got his legs back now. Mousasi drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Nikov right on the button. Nikov goes down! Mousasi follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Mousasi gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gegard Mousasi! Our winner, Gegard Mousasi, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
