And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samurai uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lucas.
Lucas lands a right hook to the body.
Samurai misses with a double jab.
Lucas should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Samurai fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A jab-cross combination lands for Samurai and sends Lucas crashing to the mat! Samurai follows him down to the mat - Lucas regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
It looks like Matheus Lucas has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lucas is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Samurai frees his head nicely. Oh but Lucas has switched to an armbar! Samurai is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
