The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hengan keeps the fight on the outside.
Hengan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
A head kick misses from Hengan.
Velasquez throws the kick towards the body but Hengan avoids it.
Hengan lands a head shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Velasquez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hengan wants to get up but he can't break Velasquez's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Velasquez is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Hengan frees his head nicely. Oh but Velasquez has switched to an armbar! Hengan is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
