Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ad Szent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mason's choice of entrance music: Here Comes the Boom-Intimidation. Michael Mason will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Szent shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mason's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Szent is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Mason is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Szent is controlling him.
Mason is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Szent thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Szent wants to pass the guard but Mason is keeping the position.

Mason can't keep his opponent in guard - Szent advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Still in half guard, Szent seems content to control.

Szent wants to free his trapped foot but Mason is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Szent seems to be working for a kimura but Mason defends the submission attempt.
Szent moves into full mount! Mason won't be happy about that!
Szent takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Szent is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Mason has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mason tries to lock up and control but Szent gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Mason is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mason has left one of his arms exposed and Szent doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Mason screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ad Szent!
A relieved looking Ad Szent thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
