Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Victorino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zdravko Dren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dren has chosen Eminem - Rain Man as his entrance music. Zdravko Dren told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Victorino! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zdravko Dren! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dren misses with a wild combination.
Dren tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Victorino is able to avoid easily. Victorino closes the distance and clinches up with Dren, looking for a takedown. Victorino pushes Dren against the cage but Dren circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dren is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dren shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dren is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Victorino defends it well. Victorino moves into full guard.
Victorino wants to stand up but Dren is controlling him.
Dren drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Victorino manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dren has Victorino in his guard.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Victorino is pushing Dren up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Dren is looking to break free of the clinch but Victorino has double underhooks. A frustrated look appears on Dren's face as he tries to break the clinch. Dren is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Victorino to keep the fight standing. Victorino goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Dren is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Victorino pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Victorino pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dren throws a leg kick but Victorino sees it coming and checks it nicely. A head kick misses from Dren. Dren tries to close the distance and clinch but Victorino swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Victorino shoots in for a takedown but Dren shows good takedown defense. Victorino tries to clinch but Dren moves out of range.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Dren as Victorino shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Victorino. That's going to take a lot out of him. Victorino closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Dren wants to clinch. Victorino misses with a head kick.

Dren looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Victorino misses with a takedown attempt - Dren sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Dren drops Victorino with a beautiful combination! Victorino stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dren is looking for the KO!

It looks like Shane Victorino has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action!
Dren with a dominant takedown and that's winded Victorino.

Victorino is rocked! Dren tries to free his leg and advance position but Victorino is retaining full guard. Dren is looking to work some ground and pound but Victorino has wrist control. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dren's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Dren wants to control from the top but Victorino keeps moving. Dren throwing strikes from guard but Victorino blocks nicely. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dren looking to pass the guard. Dren wants to stand but Victorino is controlling his posture from full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zdravko Dren dominated that round. The cut man is working on Shane Victorino's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Dren closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dren lands in his opponent's guard. Dren trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Victorino is looking to stand up but Dren isn't so interested in that idea. Dren trying to control the position from guard on top but Victorino is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Victorino wriggles free and stands up. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Victorino. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Victorino closes the distance and clinches up with Dren, looking for a takedown. Victorino pushes Dren against the cage but Dren circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Victorino shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dren is trying to defend but Victorino finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Dren is looking for a sweep. Victorino is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dren trying to control but Victorino postures up.

Victorino winds up and cracks Dren with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Victorino is trying to control. Dren wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Dren taking some punishment here, with Victorino in his half guard. Victorino landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Dren pushes Victorino off looking to stand but Victorino dives back in and keeps control.
Dren really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Victorino. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Victorino is looking to take a break and control but Dren is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Victorino throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Dren wants to get back to his feet. Dren is looking for a sweep. Victorino is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dren tries to kick Victorino off but Victorino keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Dren trying to control from the bottom.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A right-left combo lands from Dren.
Dren throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Victorino was covering up waiting for the punch and Dren finishes the takedown easily into guard. Dren loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Dren working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dren postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Zdravko Dren has got the better of the ground game so far. Victorino utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dren throws a sloppy strike and Victorino has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Dren is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Victorino!
