Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Souta Itou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by This Generation. On his way into the cage it seems that Souta Itou has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Souta Itou seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Itou throws a wild body kick that Carter sees coming a mile off.

Carter moves in looking to clinch but Itou pushes him off.

Itou is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Carter to keep the fight standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Carter creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Itou is rocked!

Itou has Carter pressed against the cage, preventing Carter from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Carter lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Itou backwards.
Carter creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Itou's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Itou drops to his knees and Carter pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Carter!
A relieved looking Nick Carter thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
