Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Erik Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vin Pasone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pasone has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Vin Pasone acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pasone tries to avoid it but Hansen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pasone to the ground. Pasone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pasone looks winded!
Hansen shoots for a double leg takedown but Pasone sprawls well. He's pushed Hansen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pasone looks to land a combination but Hansen avoids it well.
Hansen connects with a body shot that sends Pasone's belly button to the back.
Pasone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hansen circles away quickly and effectively.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pasone can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hansen is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pasone is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
You can see the frustration on Pasone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Pasone pushes Hansen away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hansen gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Pasone closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Erik Hansen.
Well Hansen has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
