Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Lewis St Clair!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stimpson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
St Clair blocks the body kick.
St Clair is looking to clinch but Stimpson is avoiding it.

It looks like Jon Lewis St Clair has been cut.
St Clair pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Stimpson takes one on the button.

Stimpson misses with a double jab
and St Clair makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Stimpson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and St Clair counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stimpson's knee momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stimpson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
St Clair lands with a nice body punch.
Stimpson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Stimpson swats away the attempt to clinch by St Clair.

St Clair stuns Stimpson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Good work by St Clair as he checks the leg kick.
St Clair lands a nice shot that snaps Stimpson's head back.

St Clair ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stimpson moves away.

St Clair moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

St Clair throws a good cross that connects.

and St Clair counters with a left and a right that stings Stimpson.
Stimpson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

It looks like Dave Stimpson has been cut.
St Clair throws a wild body kick that Stimpson sees coming a mile off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Lewis St Clair dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and St Clair counters quickly with a head kick that drops Stimpson to the mat! The referee starts the count at 3 - will Stimpson be able to get back to his feet in time? 4,5,6, he's up. He looks OK so we'll continue the action!

Stimpson throws a right hand that St Clair ducks under and follows up with a left that St Clair also avoids with ease.
Dave Stimpson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
St Clair darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Stimpson is trying to break the clinch but St Clair is controlling him.

Stimpson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and St Clair counters with a body kick that stops Stimpson in his tracks momentarily.
St Clair fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Good leg kick by St Clair there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
St Clair throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stimpson.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Stimpson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and St Clair counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Stimpson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Stimpson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Stimpson there as he acknowledges the shot.

St Clair looks low and kicks high, catching Stimpson right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!
St Clair has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Stimpson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

St Clair is stalking his opponent - BOOM! Switch kick out of nowhere! Stimpson is not moving; he is out cold!! Wow, what a quick finish that was.

Our winner, Jon Lewis St Clair, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
