Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Pruvhe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Kroft (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kroft's choice of entrance music: Ironman - Black Sabbath. Stefan Pruvhe had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kroft doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Pruvhe scores with a shot to the body.
Pruvhe lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A head kick misses from Kroft.
Pruvhe misses with a double jab.
Pruvhe misses the shot to the body.
Pruvhe tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kroft swivels and escapes.
Stefan Pruvhe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Pruvhe stays in close to Kroft's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Stefan Pruvhe.
Pruvhe lands a jab to the head.
Pruvhe dives in and grabs Kroft's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kroft pushes down on Pruvhe's head and hops out.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pruvhe. Kroft does a little dance to reset his feet.

Jeremy Kroft is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Pruvhe is looking to wear down Kroft with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Pruvhe looks to score with a jab to the body but Kroft is just out of range.

Pruvhe shoots for a double leg takedown but Kroft sprawls well. He's pushed Pruvhe's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stefan Pruvhe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pruvhe throws a leg kick but Kroft sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Pruvhe blocks a head kick by Kroft.
Pruvhe throws a low kick but Kroft avoids it.
Pruvhe will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kroft checks a leg kick.

Kroft showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pruvhe.
Kroft with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pruvhe to score with a decent uppercut.
Pruvhe shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kroft pinned against the cage. Kroft gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pruvhe looks to throw the jab but Kroft is out of range.
Pruvhe takes a swing at Kroft's ribcage but misses.
Pruvhe blocks a head kick by Kroft.
Pruvhe scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kroft doesn't seem bothered though.

Pruvhe throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Kroft lands a big head kick that sends Pruvhe tumbling to the mat! Kroft takes a step backwards and waves Pruvhe back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Pruvhe is rocked!

It looks like Stefan Pruvhe has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pruvhe misses with a low kick.
Oh Pruvhe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pruvhe has a takedown stuffed.

and as Pruvhe loses concentration momentarily, Kroft counters with a picture perfect head kick! Pruvhe goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
