Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Druff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lanny Poffo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Druff kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mother *uckers. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Poffo 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A combination from Druff does no damage.
Nice sprawl there from Druff as Poffo shoots in.
Druff tries to clinch there but Poffo circles away.
Druff closes the distance looking to clinch
and Poffo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A big right from Druff misses.
Poffo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Poffo is thwarting Druff's attempts to control the position.
Druff tries to roll over but Poffo keeps him under control.

Druff is looking for a sweep. Poffo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Poffo lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Druff is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Poffo pulls his head out easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Poffo is nestled in close to Druff, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Druff moves into full guard.
Druff has his foot on Poffo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Poffo works his way back into a safe position though.
Poffo arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Druff's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Lanny Poffo!
