Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson has chosen Lost In Space as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinto shoots in looking for a takedown. Robinson tries to sprawl out of it but Pinto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Robinson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pinto throws a jab but it's blocked by Robinson.
Robinson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pinto circles away quickly and effectively.
Robinson moves to clinch but Pinto breaks away
so Pinto counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Robinson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Pinto trying to control the position from guard on top but Robinson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

No joy there for Robinson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Pinto ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Pinto shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Robinson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pinto looking to hit a scissor sweep but Robinson is one step ahead there.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pinto changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Robinson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pinto goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Robinson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Pinto's guard! Nice work there by Robinson!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Robinson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
