Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Joseph Jones and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payne swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Silva counters with a takedown into side control.
Payne is trying to work for a sweep but Silva has mounted him!
Silva looking to control but Payne is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The referee warns Payne that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Payne really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Silva tries to control but Payne wriggling away.
Payne takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
It looks like Phil Payne has been cut.

Phil Payne's cut is getting worse.
Payne knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
Silva wants to control the pace but Payne is squirming around nicely.

Silva lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Payne is rocked!
Phil Payne's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Silva has control of Payne's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Payne regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Oh Payne is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva connects with a bit shot that sees Payne covering up! More strikes from Silva and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Silva is our winner by TKO!
