The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franco gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Franco misses with a knee strike.
Koon has Franco pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Koon pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Franco tumbling to the mat - Koon dives into Franco's guard.
Koon advances position into side control!
Franco wants to get back to his feet.
Koon misses with the ground and pound.
Koon is working to tighten is grip on Franco's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Franco has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Koon is really squeezing tight and eventually Franco passes out! Koon breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
