The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mola fails with the takedown
and Strasser counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Mola tries for a takedown but Strasser circles away easily
and Strasser counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mola shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Strasser counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rashad Strasser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Totoy Mola.

and Strasser counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Mola shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Strasser counter with a right hand.
The crowd cheers as Strasser lands an impressive looking overhand right. Mola doesn't seem phased though.

and Strasser counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Mola badly! Strasser follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Mola out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Strasser finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rashad Strasser!

After winning the bout, Rashad Strasser thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
