Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Plum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Plum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dick Steel! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plum cracks Steel with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Steel looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Plum finish him?
Steel is rocked! Plum misses with a double jab.
Steel is still on wobbly legs! Can Plum finish him? Plum throws a right and a left that Steel avoids nicely. Steel seems to have recovered his senses. Steel drives through with a takedown into guard. Steel stands and steps away. Plum gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Steel shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Plum pinned against the cage. Plum gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Plum misses with a double jab.

The fight stays on the outside here - Steel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plum looks to land a combination but Steel avoids it well. Plum connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Plum connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Steel's hands. Plum misses with the combination.
Steel slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Plum misses with a jab, cross combination.

Plum throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Steel.

A combination from Plum does no damage. Plum tries to bum rush Steel with a series of wild strikes but Steel uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Steel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Plum swats him away and circles back towards the center. Steel has closed the distance and engaged Plum in a clinch.
Plum wants to break the clinch but can't.
Plum is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Plum tries to break the clinch but Steel is controlling the position. Plum is fighting off a takedown attempt but Steel is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Plum to the mat. Plum regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steel scoring with some ground and pound. Plum avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Steel controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Steel with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Steel trying to control the position from guard on top but Plum is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Plum has momentary wrist control but Steel slips an elbow through the middle. Steel trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Steel content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Steel slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dick Steel will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Plum gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Steel trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel throwing strikes from guard but Plum blocks nicely. Steel with a flurry of punches that miss. Steel forces his way into half guard. Steel not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Steel slips a nice elbow through Plum's hands, connecting with Plum's forehead. Steel looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Steel stops Plum from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Plum keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Steel takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Plum is looking to escape. Plum avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Steel.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Plum throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Steel. Plum throws a right and a left that Steel avoids nicely. Plum lands with a big right hook that stumbles Steel - he's out on his feet here! Plum follows up with another monster hook that separates Steel from consciousness! Steel falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Plum stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Johnny Plum!
