Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alexander Joe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Clint Eastwood!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

No joy there for Eastwood, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Eastwood rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Joe moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Eastwood connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Joe momentarily.
Eastwood works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Joe changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Eastwood looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Joe wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Eastwood, who protects the arm well.
Eastwood really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Joe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Eastwood stalks Joe and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Joe's face. Joe staggers backwards, shaken.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Eastwood stuffs the takedown attempt from Joe. Joe gets slowly back to his feet.

Joe is taking a breather. Eastwood says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Joe is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Eastwood is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
