4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Judah Krizbaduhl! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kobashi throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kobashi. Krizbaduhl shrugs it off though. Kobashi takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Krizbaduhl throws a leg kick but Kobashi sees it coming and moves out of range. Krizbaduhl on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kobashi. Kobashi obviously looking to wear him down.

Krizbaduhl takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Krizbaduhl tries to land a front kick but Kobashi steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Kobashi looks to land a right hand but Krizbaduhl moved out of range. Krizbaduhl takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Kobashi throws a body punch but Krizbaduhl moves out of range. Krizbaduhl attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Krizbaduhl looks to land a body kick but Kobashi moved away.

Krizbaduhl displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kobashi throws out the jab. Kobashi delivers a nice body kick. Krizbaduhl checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Krizbaduhl tries to bum rush Kobashi with a series of wild strikes but Kobashi uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kobashi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Nice straight punches there by Kobashi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kobashi. Krizbaduhl displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kobashi throws out the jab. Kobashi moves out of range of the body kick from Krizbaduhl.

A low kick from Krizbaduhl is predictable there and Kobashi counters with an inside leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kobashi thows a left - swing and a miss! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kobashi, right into the meat.

A jab from Kobashi does it's job there. Krizbaduhl shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Krizbaduhl on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Kobashi blocks a head kick by Krizbaduhl.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nice body kick there by Kobashi. Krizbaduhl tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kobashi was well out of range. Poor timing from Krizbaduhl. Krizbaduhl looks for the body kick but Kobashi saw that one coming. Krizbaduhl avoids a low kick by using good footwork. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Krizbaduhl lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kobashi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kobashi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Kobashi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kobashi gets a clinch. Kobashi keeps control of Krizbaduhl as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Nice body punch from Kobashi. Krizbaduhl is trying to break the clinch but Kobashi has him pressed against the ropes. Kobashi working aggressively here.

Kenta Kobashi is winning the standup battle so far. Kobashi jabbing away but nothing is landing. Krizbaduhl throws a wild body kick that Kobashi sees coming a mile off. The fight stays on the outside here - Kobashi looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Krizbaduhl tried to score with a low kick but Kobashi checks it. Kobashi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. BOOM! Kobashi lands a beautiful left hook that drops Krizbaduhl. Krizbaduhl tries to recover but Kobashi is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Krizbaduhl lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kenta Kobashi! Kenta Kobashi retains his middleweight title! A less than humble Kenta Kobashi misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
