The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayman closes the distance and clinches.
Xavi manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hayman stands up and waves to Xavi to follow him.
Hayman tries to close the distance and clinch but Xavi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hayman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Xavi as he jumps to the side.

and Xavi counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Xavi.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hayman controls Xavi momentarily but Xavi frees himself.

and Hayman counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Xavi thinking.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Xavi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hayman smiles and moves away.
Hayman shoots for a double leg takedown but Xavi sprawls well. He's pushed Hayman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hayman shoots in but no luck this time.
Xavi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Hayman is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Xavi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Hayman tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Xavi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Xavi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hayman has escaped the position, nice work there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hayman is trying to escape the position but Xavi is controlling the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hayman tries to control but Xavi manages to take his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Hayman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Xavi is fending him off so far but Hayman persists. Nope, Xavi circles away and we're back to standing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Xavi dives in and scores a takedown into Hayman's guard.
Hayman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ady Xavi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Xavi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hayman leaves Xavi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Xavi wants to clinch up but Hayman keeps it at a distance.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hayman.
