The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gobblecoque sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Carter goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Gobblecoque throws a right and a left that both miss.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gobblecoque.
Gobblecoque is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gobblecoque tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Carter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
