The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrews shoots for a double leg takedown but Semenov sprawls well. He's pushed Andrews's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Andrews takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Andrews shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Semenov but Semenov pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Andrews bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Andrews throws a strike aimed at the side of Semenov's head but Semenov avoids it well.
Semenov is trying to control Andrews's posture but Andrews avoids it.

Semenov sneaks out the side door and pushes Andrews away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Andrews shoots in for a takedown but Semenov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Andrews tries to score a power double leg takedown but Semenov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Andrews somewhat.

Semenov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Semenov lands a leg kick that knocks Andrews off balance momentarily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Semenov turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Horrible takedown by Andrews or perhaps it was just good defense by Semenov which made him look bad.

Semenov gets in close and tags Andrews with a short punch that almost sends Andrews to the mat! Oh Andrews is in big trouble! He turns his back on Semenov, trying to create some distance but Semenov rushes him, striking wildly and Andrews goes down! The referee tackles Semenov into the cage to end the fight! Semenov is one violent man!
