Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matrix closes the distance and clinches up with Stoppers, looking for a takedown. Matrix pushes Stoppers against the cage but Stoppers circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stoppers misses with a straight left.
Matrix sizes up Stoppers with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Matrix ducks under a wild hook from Stoppers.
Stoppers throws a head kick but Matrix moves out of range.
Stoppers connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Matrix checks a leg kick.
Matrix looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stoppers is fending him off so far but Matrix persists. Nope, Stoppers circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stoppers displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Matrix.
Willy Stoppers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Matrix.
Stoppers goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Stoppers misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Matrix.
Matrix changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stoppers tries to avoid it but Matrix manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stoppers to the ground. Stoppers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A slapping leg kick lands for Stoppers.
Stoppers lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Stoppers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Matrix manages to avoid it.
Matrix on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A left and a right from Stoppers both land. Nice combination.
Stoppers misses with a body shot.
Matrix changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stoppers tries to avoid it but Matrix manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stoppers to the ground. Stoppers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stoppers with a jab.
Stoppers fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Matrix has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Matrix looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stoppers lands a leg kick that knocks Matrix off balance momentarily.
An inside leg kick lands from Stoppers.
Stoppers misses with a few strikes there.
Stoppers explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Matrix is trying desperately to land a takedown but Stoppers is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Matrix.

Stoppers lands a left and a right that send Matrix crashing to the mat, dazed. Stoppers thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like John Matrix has been cut.
Stoppers digs a good hook to Matrix's body.

Stoppers lands with a shot to the body.
Stoppers leaves Matrix with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Stoppers lands a big uppercut and Matrix crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Matrix looks OK. Stoppers waves Matrix back to his feet!

Matrix is rocked!
Willy Stoppers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stoppers is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Matrix hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
