Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harris Screwball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Smithson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Harris Screwball! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Smithson! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smithson has Screwball up against the cage in a clinch.
Screwball looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Screwball taking a breather. Smithson is trying to pull guard but Screwball turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Smithson breaks the clinch.
Smithson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Screwball! Smithson working the ground and pound from side control. Smithson tries to stand but Screwball is controlling his head. Smithson scoring with punches from side control. You can see the frustration on Screwball's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Smithson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
That's one minute gone in the round. Smithson landing a few strikes. Smithson wants to stand but Screwball has his arm trapped. Screwball wants to control but Smithson postures up. Smithson is working Screwball over with some ground and pound from side control. Smithson in side control, just content to control the action for now. You can see the frustration on Screwball's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smithson landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Smithson working the ground and pound. Smithson sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Screwball is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Smithson cracks Screwball with a big elbow. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Smithson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Screwball can't do much from the bottom here. Smithson working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Smithson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Screwball some visible discomfort.
Screwball gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Smithson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Screwball is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Smithson pulls his head out easily. Screwball is looking to escape. Smithson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Screwball wants to improve his position but Smithson is controlling well.
Smithson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Screwball with a short hammerfist. Smithson seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Smithson not landing any meaningful shots this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Screwball looking for submissions off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smithson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Screwball wants to get back to full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Smithson wants to stand up but Screwball has a hold of him and won't allow it. Screwball is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Smithson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Smithson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Screwball but Screwball pushes him off and we're back to square one. Smithson feints and as Screwball raises his hands in defense, Smithson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Smithson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Screwball is working an open guard so Smithson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Smithson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Smithson clinches up with Screwball and pushes him back against the cage. Screwball tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Smithson smiles and moves away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Smithson throws a sloppy head kick and Screwball moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smithson has managed to clinch.
Smithson is pushing Screwball up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Smithson throws a knee to the head but misses.

Smithson has picked Screwball up - he's going for a ride! Smithson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Ground and pound from Smithson. Screwball wants to control but Smithson is keeping busy and won't allow it. Smithson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Screwball flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smithson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Screwball does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Smithson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Smithson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Screwball. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Screwball is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Smithson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Smithson's back! Screwball somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Screwball trying to control. Screwball just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Screwball will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smithson tries to roll but Screwball sticks to his back.
Screwball is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Smithson is tapping out! This one is all over!
