Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lauricio Aranda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Inugami Hiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aranda scores with a takedown into Hiro's guard.
Aranda throwing strikes but missing.
Aranda is looking to work some ground and pound but Hiro has wrist control.

Aranda wants to control from the top but Hiro keeps moving.
Hiro is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Aranda accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Aranda postures up in Hiro's guard and throws a big left but Hiro blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Lauricio Aranda wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Hiro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aranda tries to avoid it but Hiro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aranda to the ground. Aranda escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Hiro misses with a takedown attempt
and Aranda counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Aranda stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Hiro throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Aranda was covering up waiting for the punch and Hiro finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Aranda is trying to keep Hiro in close.
Hiro decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aranda shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hiro manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Aranda wants to sweep here but Hiro controlling him for the moment.

Aranda looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Aranda controls Hiro momentarily but Hiro frees himself.
Hiro gets to his feet. Aranda looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Aranda shoots for a double leg takedown but Hiro sprawls well. He's pushed Aranda's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hiro feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Aranda escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hiro gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aranda bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hiro's guard.
Hiro is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Aranda has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hiro is working away from the top position though.
Hiro is trying to work for a kimura but Aranda is defending well.
Hiro is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Aranda is just riding it out for now. Hiro eventually gives up the hold.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lauricio Aranda will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Hiro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Aranda has had enough of the clinch but Hiro keeps him there for the moment.

Hiro fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Aranda looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hiro is fending him off so far but Aranda persists. Nope, Hiro circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lauricio Aranda.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Aranda, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
