The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kanaloa tries to clinch up.
Kanaloa avoids a kick to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Talmadge.
Talmadge avoids the body shot from Kanaloa.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Talmadge is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Talmadge drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ki I Kanaloa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cornelius Talmadge.

Kanaloa lands a left and a right that send Talmadge crashing to the mat, dazed. Kanaloa thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Talmadge is rocked!
It looks like Cornelius Talmadge has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Talmadge glances at the clock... BAM! Kanaloa nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Talmadge crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Talmadge is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ki I Kanaloa!
