Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hanzel Rampage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Parachute Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rampage's entrance music is face pain . A fine choice. Man is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Over The Rainbow. Hanzel Rampage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hanzel Rampage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Parachute Man!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rampage tries to close the distance and clinch up but Man swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rampage misses with a takedown

and Man counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Rampage!
Rampage is being controlled here.
Rampage is looking to regain half guard here but Man keeps moving and retains side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Rampage tries to improve position but can't.
Man is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Rampage will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Man's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rampage manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Rampage wants to improve his position but Man is controlling well.

Man slows the pace down in half guard.
Rampage wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Man is taking a breather. Rampage says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Parachute Man was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Rampage tries for a takedown but Man circles away easily

and Man moves into the clinch.
Rampage is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hanzel Rampage. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Man stops a takedown attempt from Rampage.
Rampage has Man pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Man manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Rampage is breathing heavily.
Rampage wants to take the fight to the mat but Man manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Man lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Man is controlling the pace.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Parachute Man hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Man misses the shot to the body.
Rampage tries to close the distance and clinch but Man swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Man shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Man was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Rampage gets back to half guard.

Man is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Rampage is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Man pulls his head out easily.

Man slows the pace down in half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Rampage fails with the takedown

and Man counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Rampage throws his legs up looking for a submission but Man uses it to pass to side control.
Rampage could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Rampage is looking to reverse the position.
Rampage being controlled for a moment.
Parachute Man has got the better of the ground game so far.
Rampage is looking for a sweep.
Rampage is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Man's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Rampage tries to roll over but Man keeps him under control.

Man seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Rampage looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rampage tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Man has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Man controlling from mount.

Rampage tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Man sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Parachute Man wasn't active enough on the ground.
Man thows a body shot but no joy.
Rampage tries to clinch but Man is having none of it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Rampage tries to sprawl but Man drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Man controlling the pace.

Rampage looking for subs from the bottom but Man mounts him!
Man controlling from the full mount.

Rampage really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Man looking to control and managing it successfully.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rampage is desperately trying to improve his position but Man has a good base and remains in mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Parachute Man showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Rampage's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Rampage shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Man counters with a shoot takedown. Rampage fights it but they end up in guard.
Man slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Rampage isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Man stacks Rampage on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Man!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rampage tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Man presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Parachute Man was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Rampage gets caught napping as Man dives in and scores a takedown. Rampage manages to retain guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Rampage is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Rampage is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Man defends well.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Rampage working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Man has passed into half guard!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Man controlling the pace.
Let's hope that Man has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Rampage fails with the takedown

so Man counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Rampage throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Man escapes and throws Rampage's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Man happy to just control the position for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rampage is looking for a sweep.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Parachute Man wasn't active enough on the ground.
A looping hook to the body misses from Man. Rampage does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hanzel Rampage has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Man darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Parachute Man comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Man winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
