Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sergio Moreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Arnold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreira moves to clinch but Arnold breaks away
and Arnold counters with a nice leg kick.
Arnold throws a nice outside leg kick.
Arnold circles away from the clinch attempt

and Arnold moves into the clinch.

Arnold breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Moreira wants to clinch.

Arnold rushes Moreira and presses him up against the cage.
Moreira is looking to break free of the clinch but Arnold has double underhooks.
Moreira tries to break free but Arnold pushes him back against the cage.
Arnold lands a right hand.
Moreira takes a knee right on the jaw!

Arnold keeps control of Moreira as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Arnold lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Moreira tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Arnold smiles and moves away.
Moreira throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Arnold counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Arnold.
Moreira drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Arnold gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Arnold unloads a knee to the mid-section. Moreira lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Moreira takes a knee right on the jaw!
Arnold lands an elbow that stopped Moreira in his tracks for a moment.
Arnold landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Moreira is breathing heavily.
Arnold lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Sergio Moreira has been cut.

Arnold escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Moreira closes the distance but Arnold moves to the side

and Arnold counters by moving into the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Arnold manages to break the clinch.
Moreira swats away the attempt to clinch by Arnold.
Moreira avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Arnold counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Moreira throws an off balance right hand
letting Arnold counter with a right hand.
Moreira misses with a double jab.
Kevin Arnold is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Arnold closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Arnold is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Moreira misses with a combination
and Arnold counters with a series of strikes. Moreira will be more careful next time no doubt.

Arnold gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Moreira is trying to break free.
Arnold lands an elbow that stopped Moreira in his tracks for a moment.

Moreira is rocked!
Arnold lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Oh Moreira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Arnold putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Moreira in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Arnold is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Arnold has Moreira pressed against the cage. He pushes Moreira back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Arnold throws a beautiful elbow that sends Moreira crashing to the floor! Arnold piles on the pressure with more strikes! Moreira is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
