Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Smash Hitter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hitter forces Kane back against the cage and clinches.

Hitter moves in looking to clinch but Kane pushes him off.
Hitter fakes the leg kick and cracks Kane in the body.

Hitter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kane is fending him off so far but Hitter persists. Nope, Kane circles away and we're back to standing.

Hitter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hitter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kane is fending him off so far but Hitter persists. Nope, Kane circles away and we're back to standing.

Nice takedown defense from Kane. No joy for Hitter on that attempt.

Kane rushes Hitter and presses him up against the cage.

Kane lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Kane is nestled in close to Hitter, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Hitter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kane on the ground.

Hitter is pressing down on Kane's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hitter working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kane doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kane manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kane shoots in looking for a takedown. Hitter tries to sprawl out of it but Kane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hitter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kane moves out of range as Hitter throws a body kick.

Kane scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Kane works his foot free and advances to mount.

It looks like Smash Hitter has been cut.
Kane connects with a bit shot that sees Hitter covering up! More strikes from Hitter and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Kane is our winner by TKO!
