Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grant Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bob Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Grant Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Bob Baker! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hall is looking to improve his position.
Hall is defending against the submission attempts here by Baker.
Baker wants to pass the guard but Hall is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Baker is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hall is just riding it out for now. Baker eventually gives up the hold. Baker seems to be working for a kimura but Hall defends the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Baker is working away from the top position though. Baker is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hall is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hall is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Baker's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Baker's back! Hall misses with a punch to the head. Hall tries to keep control of the position but Baker is staying busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Baker is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Hall is trying to control but Baker is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Hall wants to control the pace but Baker is squirming around nicely. Baker has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Hall's lack of action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baker is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hall pulls his head out easily. Still in half guard, Hall seems content to control. Hall is trying to control. Baker wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Grant Hall has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Baker. Hall clinches up against the cage. Baker wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Grant Hall will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hall lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Baker at a distance.
Baker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hall sprawls well. Hall wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Baker gets slowly back to his feet. Grant Hall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hall moves into the clinch. Hall unloads a knee to the mid-section. Baker lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Hall tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Baker just stands there and leans against the cage. Hall tries to pull guard but Baker won't allow it.

Hall escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hall closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hall lands in his opponent's guard. Grant Hall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hall defends well. Hall got a little sloppy there for a moment and Baker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hall has managed to get both his arms back between Baker's legs - danger averted. Hall throwing strikes from guard but Baker blocks nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hall missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Hall trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hall wants to stand but Baker is controlling his posture from full guard. Baker throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall wants to control from the top but Baker keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Grant Hall just wasn't active enough. Hall misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Baker should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Baker avoids the head kick by Hall.
Hall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hall drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Baker is not content to let Hall control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hall controlling from side mount. Baker can't do much from the bottom here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hall is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Baker has escaped the position, nice work there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Grant Hall dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Baker misses with a takedown attempt - Hall sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hall scores with a takedown into Baker's guard. Hall pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Baker is keeping the position for now. Baker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Baker has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hall is looking to defend but Baker has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hall! Baker pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hall taps out and this one is all over!
