Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Omen Kula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beno Neck Breaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Omen Kula! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Beno Neck Breaker! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Neck Breaker tries for a takedown but Kula circles away easily and Kula counters by moving into the clinch. Neck Breaker tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Neck Breaker ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Neck Breaker no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kula trying to control the position from guard on top but Neck Breaker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Neck Breaker has a closed guard, preventing Kula from standing up. Kula looking to pass the guard. Neck Breaker not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Omen Kula just wasn't active enough. Neck Breaker stuffs the takedown. Neck Breaker stuffs the takedown attempt from Kula. Kula gets slowly back to his feet. Kula shoots and misses and Neck Breaker counters with a head kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Omen Kula. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kula shoots in but no luck this time. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Neck Breaker. Neck Breaker throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kula was covering up waiting for the punch and Neck Breaker finishes the takedown easily into guard. Neck Breaker drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kula dives on top into guard. Neck Breaker looks winded! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kula is looking to pass into half guard but Neck Breaker pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Neck Breaker is in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neck Breaker in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kula had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Neck Breaker defends it easily. Neck Breaker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kula knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Neck Breaker on the ground. Kula thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Neck Breaker lands a couple of digs. Neck Breaker trying to control but Kula is working from the bottom. Kula looking for a sweep. Not yet Kula, not yet. Kula keeping moving, preventing Neck Breaker from controlling successfully. Neck Breaker decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kula, up you get!

Neck Breaker throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kula. Kula fails with the takedown. Nice takedown defense from Kula. No joy for Neck Breaker on that attempt. Beno Neck Breaker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Neck Breaker shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kula as he avoids it easily. Kula lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Neck Breaker at a distance.

and Kula counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Kula decides to pull guard. Kula tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kula is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Neck Breaker is aware though and is defending well. Neck Breaker drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Neck Breaker jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Neck Breaker drops back looking for a leg! Kula is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kula manages to kick Neck Breaker off! Neck Breaker jumps back into Kula's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neck Breaker lands a couple of digs. Neck Breaker trying to control but Kula is working from the bottom. This has been an exciting period of action! Neck Breaker in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Neck Breaker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kula is keeping the position for now. Neck Breaker drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kula looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kula looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kula! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Beno Neck Breaker dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kula shoots in but Neck Breaker avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Omen Kula. That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck for Neck Breaker with that takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kula is defended easily by Neck Breaker.

He's pushed Kula's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Neck Breaker stuffs the takedown attempt from Kula. Kula gets slowly back to his feet. Neck Breaker misses with a takedown attempt - Kula sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Neck Breaker feints and as Kula raises his hands in defense, Neck Breaker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Kula is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Neck Breaker is controlling him. Neck Breaker gets to his feet - Kula follows without any prompting. Neck Breaker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kula sprawls well. Kula wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Neck Breaker gets slowly back to his feet. Neck Breaker doesn't manage to clinch there - Kula circles away.
Neck Breaker moves to clinch but Kula breaks away and Kula counters with a nice low kick that buckles Neck Breaker's knee momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kula shoots for a takedown but Neck Breaker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Neck Breaker shoots in for a double leg but Kula sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Neck Breaker tries to clinch up but Kula circles away and keeps his distance. Kula slaps away a takedown attempt from Neck Breaker, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kula clinches. Neck Breaker tries for a takedown but Kula manages to get underhooks.
Kula decides to pull guard. Beno Neck Breaker has got the better of the ground game so far. Neck Breaker postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kula is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Neck Breaker, into his guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kula's corner. There ya go! There ya go! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Beno Neck Breaker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
The fight stays on the outside here - Neck Breaker looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nice sprawl there from Neck Breaker as Kula shoots in. Neck Breaker dives in and grabs Kula's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kula pushes down on Neck Breaker's head and hops out. Neck Breaker misses with a takedown attempt - Kula sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Neck Breaker takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kula fails with a takedown attempt. Neck Breaker tries to clinch but fails miserably and Kula counters by clinching up. Neck Breaker is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kula to keep the fight standing. Omen Kula has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Beno Neck Breaker. Kula breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Neck Breaker doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Kula darts in and clinches Neck Breaker up against the cage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kula manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kula controls Neck Breaker momentarily but Neck Breaker frees himself. Neck Breaker stops Kula from standing up. Neck Breaker working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kula's head. Neck Breaker postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Neck Breaker trying to control but Kula is working from the bottom. Neck Breaker trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kula's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neck Breaker thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Neck Breaker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kula works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Neck Breaker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Neck Breaker stands and steps away. Kula gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Horrible takedown by Neck Breaker or perhaps it was just good defense by Kula which made him look bad. Kula pushes Neck Breaker up against the cage in a clinch. Kula digs a right hand underneath Neck Breaker's ribcage. Neck Breaker let out a lung full of air as it connected. Neck Breaker wants a takedown.

Neck Breaker maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kula could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Neck Breaker has cracked it and Kula is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Neck Breaker!
