Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boris Yurinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Efrain Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yurinov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DJ Vadim - The Terrorist. Boris Yurinov has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yurinov doesn't manage to clinch there - Vera circles away.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Yurinov.
Yurinov chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Yurinov feints and then cracks Vera's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vera down.
Yurinov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Vera on the side of the head.
Vera has Yurinov up against the ropes in a clinch.
Yurinov lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Yurinov digs a right hand underneath Vera's ribcage. Vera let out a lung full of air as it connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Yurinov creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vera accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Vera has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Vera throws an elbow that misses. Yurinov uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Vera's guard. Nice move by Yurinov!

Yurinov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vera has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Yurinov has managed to get both his arms back between Vera's legs - danger averted.

Vera closes the distance and clinches up with Yurinov, looking for a takedown. Vera pushes Yurinov against the ropes but Yurinov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Nice takedown defense from Yurinov. No joy for Vera on that attempt.
Boris Yurinov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Efrain Vera.
Vera takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Yurinov lands a head kick. Vera smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Yurinov lands a brutal head kick. Vera looks out on his feet and Yurinov throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

A relieved looking Boris Yurinov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
