Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jublain Sackett! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson misses with a leg kick. Sackett looks to land a left hand but Jackson moved out of range nicely. Sackett fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Jackson staying out of range there. Sackett misses with a straight right. Sackett misses with an uppercut. Sackett cracks Jackson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sackett has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jackson to stand back up!
Jackson is rocked!
It looks like Jon Jackson has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Jackson dodges the punch combination from Sackett.
Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A slow jab from Sackett misses its intended target. Jublain Sackett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sackett throws a jab when Jackson was well out of range. A jab from Sackett misses. Sackett throws a hook but Jackson avoids it easily. Jackson seems to have got his legs back now. Jackson slips a jab from Sackett. A clash of legs there as Sackett blocks the low kick. Sackett swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Sackett might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Sackett lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Jackson falls backwards - clearly groggy! Sackett dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
