Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker cracks a nice hook into Diaz's ribs.
A slapping leg kick lands for Diaz.

The fight stays on the outside here - Parker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
BOOM! Parker connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Parker lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Diaz! Parker sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Diaz and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ted Parker!
A very excited looking Ted Parker made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
