The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Haynes's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Haynes duly obliges.
Haynes misses with a few strikes there.
Haynes throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Silva counters with a single leg into guard. Haynes didn't expect that.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Haynes keeping moving, preventing Silva from controlling successfully.
Haynes wants to stand and escape but Silva is having none of it.
Silva has gone for a leg lock! Haynes slips out almost immediately though and dives into Silva's guard.
Haynes would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Haynes loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Haynes wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Silva's closed guard. He's half up but Silva has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Silva pivots and extends the arm, Haynes falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Silva! Well done that man!
