Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Blachowicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angus Grundi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jan Blachowicz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Angus Grundi!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grundi slips under a jab from Blachowicz.
Grundi with a lazy takedown attempt
and Blachowicz counters with a stiff right hand.
Blachowicz stuffs the takedown attempt from Grundi. Grundi gets slowly back to his feet.
Blachowicz gets caught flat footed, as Grundi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Grundi wants to pass the guard but Blachowicz is keeping the position.
Blachowicz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Grundi has gone for a leg lock! Blachowicz slips out almost immediately though and dives into Grundi's guard.
Grundi wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Blachowicz content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blachowicz with a flurry of punches that miss.
Grundi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Blachowicz is one step ahead there.
Grundi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Grundi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Blachowicz sees it coming and defends easily.
Grundi working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Grundi uses his free foot to push down on Blachowicz's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Blachowicz.
Grundi with a couple of short strikes.
Grundi lands a big shot there that rocks Blachowicz but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Grundi throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Blachowicz because Grundi loaded up on that one.

Grundi punching from mount but Blachowicz doing a good job of avoiding damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grundi is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Blachowicz is surviving well by controlling Grundi's body position as best he can.
Blachowicz is trying desperately to improve position.

Grundi goes for an armbar but Blachowicz turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Blachowicz.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Grundi manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Grundi has hold of Blachowicz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Blachowicz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Grundi misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Blachowicz is rocked!
It looks like Jan Blachowicz has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grundi lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Blachowicz! Grundi sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Blachowicz and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Angus Grundi!
