The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright swats away the attempt to clinch by Peen.
Wright tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Peen swivels and escapes.
Wright gets the takedown into side control.
Peen is trying to control Wright's posture but Wright avoids it.
Peen is looking for a sweep.
Peen trying his best to control but Wright has mounted him.
Wright is working for a guillotine from mount but Peen frees his head quite easily.
Wright stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Peen tries to bum rush Wright with a series of wild strikes but Wright uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wright shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Peen wants to stand and escape but Wright is having none of it.
Wright tries to free his leg and advance position but Peen is retaining full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Peen wants to get back to his feet but Wright passes into half guard.

Wright is working for a kimura but Peen is defending it quite comfortably.
Wright is breathing heavily.
Wright is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Peen wants to improve his position but Wright is controlling well.
Peen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wright is working away from the top position though.
Peen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wright. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Peen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Wright could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Peen wants to control but Wright is keeping busy.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Peen feints and as Wright raises his hands in defense, Peen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Peen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Peen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wright looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Peen!
Wright has hold of Peen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Peen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wright trying to control but Peen is having none of it.
Peen is wriggling around trying to escape.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wright is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Peen has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Peen!

Wright is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Wright throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Peen escapes and throws Wright's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Wright looking for a sweep but Peen has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Peen prevents Wright from getting the reversal.
Wright regains half guard.

Peen wants to control but Wright is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wright moves into full guard.
Wright looking to hit a scissor sweep but Peen is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wright escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Peen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Peen trying to control the position from guard on top but Wright is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wright is looking to sinch up a triangle. Peen throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Wright's body to avoid the submission. Wright has instead reached around Peen's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Wright arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Kristofir Wright!
